Penna in the Public Sector
Penna’s experience spans the entire Public Sector, including Central and Local Government, Criminal Justice, Healthcare, Education, Housing Associations and Charities. We have worked extensively in the Public Sector for over 10 years and have established sector teams across all our capabilities working on some of the most challenging people issues.
Examples of our work in the Public Sector include:
- Helping Scottish Natural Heritage with the people elements of their relocation to Inverness including career transition and recruitment services
- Creating a competence framework for the Department of Finance and Administration within the House of Commons
- Working with an internal programme team at the Department of Constitutional Affairs to create a unified courts administrative organisation
- Providing coaching to senior executives in the NHS, the DCLG, Northamptonshire County Council, and Government Offices for the North East and North West
- Developing the leadership capability of the Learning and Skills Council and the London Borough of Ealing
- Preferred supplier agreements for interim executives (including consultants) for the Department of Health and Transport for London
- Recruitment of Members for the Parole Board for both the 2006 and 2007 campaigns
- Running the Cabinet Office IIP civil service network.
- Providing internal redeployment support for Southern Housing and outplacement for those that have been unsuccessful delivered throughout the South East
- Appointed by DWP as sole provider of outplacement and career transition services through their redeployment and relocation programme
- A cultural change programme for the Pensions Service, assisting in the transformation of its approach to customer service
